1. In your opinion, what’s the closest thing to real magic?

I am a Christian and I am very much a believer of the miracles that God has performed in the Old and New Testaments plus the daily miracles that He has been demonstrating so devotedly into ourlives. That for me is MAGICAL!

BUT I’d like to talk about magic in a whimsical way, I think when you’re attracted to someone, that’s magic. At first, I thought that it only happens in the movies, but then one time, I believe I was in my second year in college and I was killing time at the mall, I have found myself following a guy, blindly. Like I just saw myself at the last floor of the mall wondering why was I there? Then I realized that I was following a guy whom I thought was cute. I did not know it could happen for real. It was like I was in trance.

2. Where is the worst smelling place you’ve been?

There’s this place in Hong Kong where they sell Stinking Tofu. The queue is quite long so you will totally be stuck with the smell for a long time and it is awful! It tastes so good nobody cares about the smell though.

3. What are some things that you’ve heard in your own life, which sounded like compliments but were actually insults?

Praising me for my work accomplishments and later saying that I am too good for a “Filipino.” I mean, you can’t praise me and insult my race @ the same time.

4. What incredibly common thing have you never done?

I have never eaten (tasted) an eggplant.

Gratitude Section (Optional, as always)

I am grateful to God because He keeps performing greatness into ourlives! No matter how hard it’s been for us, He never fails!

    1. ❤️ God is truly amazing!

And about eggplant, really?!! Hahaha! I feel so normal now!!! 😂😂😂
To be fair to us, my teacher told me that it barely has any nutrients hahaha…

  1. The secret to an egg plant is how it is used in cooking – Greek inspired dishes in particular because it absorbs all this wonderful flavours!

Real magic for me is looking out over a vast landscape (as I am Australian) and marvelling in nature itself. You can be in the middle of nowhere and watch the wind as it ripples across the vastness of the spinifex (a native grass with firm grass spines), as if they were the waves on the ocean itself. It is very spiritual and makes you think about creation.

Worst smelling place might just be one of my sons bedrooms 🤣

Sadly, backhanded compliments are very prevalent.

Wow, the last one is hard! Not sure 😊
