One of the blogs that I follow is JM’s, she starts cool and fun things like this post, ‘what’s on my Iphone?’ / or what’s on my phone in case you’re using other types. I especially like this because her post made me realize how disorganized mine is. After this post, I vow to sort the apps better and she taught me a trick to make it look fancier.
This is my home screen. At the bottom, you’d find that my mail has some unread stuff (I actively use it for work) and Whatsapp, since we communicate mainly through it. We only use the text messaging because Whatsapp calls are banned in Saudi Arabia.
The choice of wallpaper reflect the AUNT in me!
I didn’t edit or delete any apps. This is pre-sorting. Although I have deleted some spam mails having noticed I have 47 unread emails so, I am now down to 23.
This is the next (and the last). I sorted everything on boxes so as to not have a lot of pages. I do not like a cluttered desktop and of course, I would not like it for my phone either. You should see my mom’s! I feel like deleting everything on it!
I have random pop-up apps too (that I am quick to delete). Those apps are from Brook’s Ipad since we share an Apple ID. This is good to monitor the things he downloads.
Though improperly sorted, my apps are not cluttered. I feel so accomplished having less apps compared to how it was a year ago. This is the best I can do and I couldn’t delete any more as all of these are in use. I don’t play Roblox but I am the one who charges Brook’s account so I must have the app with me as well.
I have hidden one app and that’s my Swiss Bank App where I have deposited all the profits from my Yamashita Treasure expedition including the sale of the ever elusive golden Buddha. Just kidding! I did not deposit it there.
What about you?

Wow loved it. It is such a fun and creative postπ€

This is such a fun post, Ate! I want to participate!!! π I also love organizing my apps into folders. It saves time when I’m looking for an app, and I can easily memorize where they are. I used to organize them by color, but even if they look good, it’s hard to locate them. π

I like your wallpaper. What flower is it? It is interesting how the phone wallpaper tells us something about the person. And good idea on sharing IDs to monitor Brook! Good job on sorting your apps as best you can!

thanks! i have properly sorted it after making the post… i asked jm on how she makes her aesthetically beautiful and apparently, it was easy… hehe
i dont really know what flower it is, i just looked for something i liked… the theme that i always look for is anything green (shades of green) then that came among the choices… i love plants. i used to live in a single accommodation before and my house was almost junglelike… it was circa 2003-2004, even before the plantitas… however, having rejoined my family, i wasnt allowed to bring that many indoor plants π
i’ve given some away… now, we just keep the herbs and spices…

Sounds fun to write about! Although I feel a bit intrusive knowing what’s on your phone, even if it’s just the apps haha. (I wonder why?) Anyway, why are Whatsapp calls are banned in KSA?

I do understand about your feeling that it’s a bit intrusive because I did kind of think about that before I have followed suit. I reviewed everything on my phone before I decided that it’s ok. If you noticed, I have covered one app– it’s not like it’s CIA material but I didn’t feel like sharing it. So yeah, you have a valid point for feeling so.
They are banned for privacy purposes; as you probably know, they are still quite conservative here and they try to limit video chatting as much as possible (although in reality, it’s quite a long shot)… Whatsapp is just one of the many banned messaging apps here. It just so happened that it’s the most popular sms app in the business community here that’s why I do really find it quite useful (enough to be on my shortcut π )

Thanks for inspiring a lot of bloggers to do this π I bragged (to my sisters only) about the spacing discovery… the youngest showed me her phone and apparently, she does the same… i think, you guys, the younger generation are way smarter than us, we would not have thought of that π π π
