She Went Quietly

I guess the interpretation depends on which state one is in and is totally open to various takes. Perhaps the character returns, lives, or have permanently left the scene... Nevertheless... it certainly brings a stop to her current life... whichever way we choose to interpret it.
Song Lyrics Sunday — A prompt by Jim Adams.

This week’s prompt is:  Hold/Pause/Stop/Wait.

The song may not really contain any of these words; but I chose it for a specific reason… there’s a certain ambiguity to the words. Listening to it seems like the main character left without a warning, without a trace however, it may also be interpreted as if she is about to kill herself or is merely just a breakup song… I guess the interpretation depends on which state one is in and is totally open to various takes. Perhaps the character returns, lives, or have permanently left the scene… Nevertheless… it certainly brings a stop to her current life… whichever way we choose to interpret it.
