1 Peter 1:3
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for us sinners, thank you for the promise of eternal life. It’s through Jesus, we are saved and we thank you Lord everyday for the gift of LIFE.
God is a generous God, He has given His only son for our salvation. Imagine that? He died so we can live! We’re so amazed by how Harry Potter is the chosen one and how he is the only one who can vanquish Voldemort therefore saving the Wizarding World but in real life, we have the true and actual chosen one, and He is Jesus Christ. He is the savior of the WHOLE WORLD!
If we want to receive the eternal life God has promised (1 John 5:13, Romans 6:23, Matthew 7:13-14) all we need to do is repent and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He is the only way, the truth and the life — no one comes to the Father but through Him… (John 14:6)
Here is a simple prayer if you have not yet given your life to Jesus and invited him into yours — you can pray this with me.
“Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Savior and Lord. Come reign in my heart, fill me with your love and your life, and help me to become a person who is truly loving—a person like you. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
God will make wonders in your life as He’s done with mine! Life is not easy. It’s not a breeze but the promise of eternity in heaven with the Father is worthy of it all.
Thank you Lord for loving me.
